I love going to the gym and getting a good workout. After a long day at work it feels good to relieve some stress in the gym. It also feels good to bask in the ambiance of the gym as well; you know, the sound of steel plates clinging together, the grunts, and rock music (that's more of my preference) but you get it right. So does that mean that having a gym membership is more of a luxury or a necessity?

Fast Food, Bring It On.
McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, Arby's, bring them all on. Fast food is not a sin in the fitness world despite the negative stigma surrounding them. In contrast, they can be very beneficial to your gains and nutrition.

So You Want A Nice Butt
What I have heard over the years from those wanting to enhance their butts. I don't want to do squats because my butt will go away and turn into muscle. If I lose too much weight, my butt will go away. I love this one, I want to lose weight but not in my butt. If you haven't found out by now, then you want to read on.

The Truth about Restaurants and Fewer Calorie Meals
When it comes to calories, I say bring them on because people like me who are highly active need high calories to fuel our bodies through tough workouts. But that does not work for about 69.2% adults in America who were obese or overweight from 2009-2010 according to the Center for Disease Control (CDC). For that population, more calories could literally be killer calories leading to congestive heart failure, high blood pressure and diabetes.
Many of us tend to dine out for a good meal. There are several restaurants that feature calorie conscious meals. Those meals are a smart choice for those who are watching their calories, right. There is a caveat.

More Crunches Won't Help
You look in the mirror and what do you see..... What was your answer? It probably sounded like this: I do tons of sit ups and crunches but I still can't see my abs. Here's a possible solution. Most of the time when we are just getting out of a hot shower, we take a moment to check out our bodies. Try wiping the condensation from the mirror and look again. If you have already done that and you still can't see your abs, then Houston we have a problem.

Treadmillology
There is no doubt about it that the treadmill is the number one stationary running machine. Some are even equipped with devices that monitor your heart rate, a beautiful invention. Some even have trainers built right into them. On certain training modes you can go on a decline power walk or you can go on an incline power walk. That's beautiful right?! Think about it, you can walk down a hill on a treadmill without being on a hill. You can walk up a hill on a treadmill without being on a hill as well, beautiful!
Can you imagine walking up a steep hill; the strain on your legs from your knee joints being bent at an angle which causes your quadriceps to constantly stay engaged and lower back on fire because of muscles constantly resisting gravity to support your torso. The intensity makes your heart race even when walking at a
